I like that it is linked directly from the Private Community message on Reddit. I wish more subreddit picked a new official place and linked it, that way people would actually try something else instead of waiting the end of the blackout.
Reddit can permanently ban mod doing that : /r/adviceanimals was going dark, then the admins booted the head mod and installed an admin friendly one. The excuse was "brigading".

Exactly. Bring all that discussion and content over here, then we are actually in control of it. We can't expect anything to change when Reddit thinks there's no viable alternative.
