Fucking hell...

Everyone should read this article.

Like maybe it just hits close to home, but I feel like regardless of the subject matter this is just some of the best journalism I've read in a long time.

Soldiers are just tools to the military machine. When they’re worn out, no longer useful, they’re discarded. If they get scratched up, burnt out while accomplishing the mission, so be it, thanks for your service. And In the end it was always just the ends justifying the means—a bunch of rich bigoted fucks sacrificing the young and motivated (and in this case, highly disciplined and skilled) to make sure the rich get richer and everybody else stays a plebe or dead.

Same as it ever was.
