Installing CH340 drivers in Linux Mint running 5.15.0-88 kernel
(lemmy.dbzer0.com)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

I get this as a result:
user@user-System-Product-Name:~/Downloads/CH341SER_LINUX$ sudo make Makefile
make: Nothing to be done for 'Makefile'.
You don't pass in
Makefile
tomake
as it will read that file automatically. Nor you needsudo
withmake
as compiling doesn't need any special privileges.Step:
make
: compile the code to binarysudo make install
: install the binary to your systemPlease dont just run whatever command with sudo.
Please read a bit of stuff before trying out crazy stuff.
Do you even need that driver?
