Yeah, I mean the issue is that they don't act in good faith so it's hard to deal with.
I'm not an expert on how to resolve the issue by any means, but I don't see a way around this without some force being applied.
The issue is not everyone is comfortable with that. A lot of people understandably want to live peacefully and without violence. But I don't know how that will realistically happen when the right leaning side keeps pushing violent rhetoric. Maybe I'm just ignorant to more possible solutions, but it seems to me that eventually, there will be some kind of civil war if they don't stop pushing towards dictatorship/fascist rule.
Edit: I forgot to mention, but that's why you'll see some people take a passive stance, and some will take a hard stance on it. And sometimes people will flip flop in between. It's self-preservation.
