20,000 troops do not appear out of thin air. So who are these people and what kind of training do they have? It sounds like he's creating some kind of gang. This could be a boiling point for people

Nobody wants to be violent. But how do you stop a violent oppressor without force? You can't. You can resist, but ultimately, whoever uses more force will win.
He's really not thinking. I hope he tariffs everyone harder. Let's get everyone pissed and ready for protest.
We've really come to the "You'll slave away and not be able to afford anything" stage. It's kind of exciting. I hate it, but I also want him to go faster. Crash and burn faster. Maybe regulations will come in after he's removed, and we can possibly see some improvements in our lifetime.
Let me dream lol
I think I stopped using it in 2014? It was rough haha
Not defending AI here, but this sounds like people who are sick with some kind of illness are going down a rabbit hole with AI, and are unable to differentiate between imaginary and reality.
We had a family friend who worked with jewelry his whole life. He got some kind of poisoning from something he worked with. Lead? Mercury? I cannot recall
Anyways he started believing he was some kind of messenger from God. Nobody figured out it was poisoning for years. He was such a nice guy. He just wanted to help people. Once they figured it out, he was treated and went back to his normal self.
Every time I read more about Facebooks BS, the crazier it sounds. But I remember having a very similar issue with it. It kept feeding me political content I would get upset with. It was great at that, and so I stopped using it all together.
It truly seems like it's a perfect storm of manipulation.
Ahh, that's something I didn't consider. EA did that recently with the Sims 1&2. Something like that at least. I hate that. At the very least, both options should be available.
In the case with the Sims, they didn't include regional variants of the game, and they also were missing an ikea dlc due to licensing
Oh sorry, I wasn't defending them. Haha yeah I agree with you completely. They are absolutely going to jack up costs. I just meant I don't think Nintendo is generally struggling. They seem like a standout in the market
One thing that should be noted is Nintendo is roughly the 10th best company in Japan and has billions in reserve cash.
Do you guys think these companies will retroactively raise game prices for older titles?
There's a couple of Nintendo games that never go on sale that I've been waiting on. I have a gift card, so I'm thinking maybe I should snag em now before things get stupid expensive
I came across this screenshot today. Ooof
I can't imagine doing this to yourself. But I can see what leads people to do this. I've been streaming for a year now, but I've drawn a line where it is only during my off hours, and I keep weekends for myself. I do it during my hobby time.
The issue with our society is that we're constantly supposed to min max everything. If you aren't all in, your chances of success are lower. We see this manifest in various ways. For example, companies try to skip out on safety if they're allowed to. People will take on multiple jobs. Without restrictions, some of us will push ourselves to our limits because we see no way out of our situations.
On the flip side, you see people just giving up. Like with the laying flat movement. Why play the game if you'll never win?
I don't really have a point to my ramblings. It's just something I've been thinking about for a while. I'm not really sure what the solution is as the system is bigger than us. I guess this disfunction is just a symptom of a greater issue.
