Why did you repeat the same letters in the same positions when they were correct instead of using those spots to gain new information? Just curious..

5/6* (with the asterisk) means that the game was played in hard mode. You have to use all letters you've found in this mode.

I just go for guessing the full correct word as quickly as possible, instead of wasting attempts at finding more β€œgood” letters. It works for me.
