Kevin has made a few disappointing films over the years, but I wouldn’t say he’s a bad filmmaker.
The 4:30 Movie is quite good, and probably the most mature comedy he’s ever made. It really felt like a return to form so I’d recommend giving that a chance if you enjoyed his early work.
Tusk was a cinematic masterpiece you philistine!
Red State is also a fun diversion from his older work.
When I first watched it I didn't know he was the director. I was impressed with his range as a director.
Later movies don't impact earlier ones. Clerks is still a masterpiece.
No, Clerks ceased to exist the moment Smith put out Yoga Hosers. That's the way the world works. Everything later ruins earlier works and can delete them entirely if they're bad enough.
He doesn't even understand why people like clerks. Or at least ye pretends to. He always acts embarrassed that he made the movie and people still like it. He never did anything better and he never will. And i don't think he cares, all he wants is to make a marvel Disney movie and make a billion dollars.
Needs sources.
Lol. That's possibly the best way to get people to list out the great movies he's made. I'll go ahead say it, I love Jay and Silent Bob.
