JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel’s government said a drone targeted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s house Saturday, with no casualties, as fighting with Lebanon-based Hezbollah and Gaza -based Hamas showed no pause after the killing of the Hamas mastermind of last year’s Oct. 7 attack.

Israel’s military said dozens of projectiles were launched from Lebanon a day after Hezbollah announced a new phase in fighting. Netanyahu’s office said the drone targeted his house in the Mediterranean coastal town of Caesarea. Neither he nor his wife were there. It wasn’t clear if the house was hit.

Certainly true. I wonder if they'd rule differently if it were demonstrated to them that they're not untouchable, though.

I am not an expert in Israeli politics but they feel victimized because of the holocaust. But it’s at the point where they are no longer the victims but the perpetrators.

They don't, actually. To most of them the Holocaust is a propaganda tool to trick Westerners into doing their bidding; to them it's more about Zionism as an ideology and its role as the ideological bedrock of Israeli society.

Would you say Zionism has kind of turned a lot of regular jewish folk who just want to live and not be a part of an apartheid occupation engaging in genocide, would you say that these weird policies have kind of excluded most of the Jewish people in the world from supporting netanyahu, the terrorist

I’m just having fun with language but there is a genocide going on and I don’t know how else to say it
