Is your dad one of the willingfully ignorant person who use redefinition of words to conclude that successful example of Marxism are success of Capitalism? Did he even know about the actual definition of Communism? I know that my abusive ableist family had fled mainland China before the Communist takeover to continue their toxic authoritarian tradition from the Chinese warlord period, but my family now praise the mainland Chinese government for their leadership to the current prosperity of China despite their hatred of Communism. Is your dad similar in some way?
