Unfortunately it doesn't get rid of all their comments, like one's instance defederating would.

I’m waiting until there is a deferated instance from lemmy.ml with downvotes disabled, until then, this is the best I can do.

My current instance doesn't have downvotes, but it doesn't matter to me either way.
