Oh cool, a new TRON movie!
Nevermind.
I don't particularly like the guy either, but imo it isn't that bad. He was in the new Blade runner and that ended up being great.
The real make or break choice for TRON will imo be who they get to do the soundtrack. Following Daft Punk is going to be a hard task.
Agreed. And if we're not getting a heavy hitter on the level of, say, Trent Reznor it'll probably be a disappointment
I actually hadn't heard of this movie yet. I try not to keep up with movies and games so I'm not too disappointed by over-hyped content.
I got a little excited at just the title, and as soon as I saw "Ares (Jared Leto)" all desire to watch it went out the window, my insides dropped a little, and the Tron Legacy is now derezzed. Pun entirely intended.
Yeah, this post is the first time I heard they were actually working on a new TRON movie.
TRON isn't exactly known for great writing or acting, I'll definitely give Ares a watch knowing ahead of time that Leto's performance won't be great
