I heard a friend from my Chinese community that Samsung and Kioxia are reducing production of NAND chips to hike SSD price. Samsung and WD SSD in Amazon UK are quite sold out.

Can anyone confirm this?

It's repeatedly happened before; hell this would be the 3rd time this year (at least!).

It's standard practice for ram, at least it was. I remember companies being busted with warehouses of ram sticks.
