The headline is garbage but the article itself is actually kinda decent. It goes into the discrepancy between the life expectancy of the US vs that of similar nations, saying that Luigi’s notion, that the inflated prices of the US healthcare system are the reason for the lower life expectancy, is by far not the whole story and lists a lot of other reasons mentioned in this study: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24006554/
