I wish they would go into detail on really anything here. What data are they lacking? What was provided? What hypothesis are they hoping to prove with new data?
Are we really writing articles complaining about a lack of transparency about unspecified data that may may not exist now? Why?
The BBC article sucks, but it seems the WHO wants further on-site studies that China is refusing since 2021, at least according to Al Jazeera.
That said, this is atrociously bad reporting.
