well. Vance served as a marine corps journalist for a six month tour of duty in Iraq. which is almost worse. he's probably ruined the life of someone he knew personally

Eh, Vance was a mil journalist in Iraq for 6 months but he never saw real combat

Oh man, i’m an iraq veteran and i assumed he saw some action. A lot of us did. Looking at his awards and medals though it’s clear you’re right. Guy was a fobbit.
