MODERATORS
This is actually an important point. No matter what cloud service someone picks, be sure you have a local copy of the data somewhere.
I would be so livid to lose 10 years of photos. That has got to be devastating.
Since many here probably use iCloud, I highly recommend for photos that people configure a Mac to keep a copy of all photos locally. (Settings->iCloud->"Download Originals to this Mac".
