I saw that last Wolverine movie.

Did you see the last Dr. Strange movie? He died again in that one, too. Did you see Deadpool and Wolverine? You know the one that specifically references the dead Logan from that movie you did see? And then had another one as a co-star in the movie?

Yeah, dying in the movies isn't exactly concrete for the actors. It's a lot like the comics that way.

Whether the last Wolverine movie was part of the same continuity has flip-flopped anyways. I'd rather consider it separate the same way Old Man Logan is in the comics.
