Ffs get out there and protest or riot.
It's kinda interesting from a German perspective because we also have the deeply engained reflex to signal remorse about our fascist dictator. I can relate to a degree because a lot of the phrases I hear do sound quite familiar. Ultimately it's not really the same of course. Not much we can do about Hitler at this point. Americans still have the chance to somewhat mitigate the spiral of generational shame.
FWIW, apology for failure doesn't suggest a lack of trying. I think that is the angle most are coming from. People are out there organizing and protesting, but it's just not enough.
Those things aren't mutually exclusive, and just because you don't hear the media reporting on it doesn't mean we're not.
To no one's surprise, the billionaire owned media isn't reporting on the reports on the protests against the billionaire run kakistocracy.
