My dog can sometimes space out and stare at nothing during the day. I would shit my pants if that happend at night.
He just gets a firmware update.
Bonus if you see their eyes reflecting faint light in the dark
You might want to mention this to your vet if you haven't already. It's probably nothing, but just in case there's an underlying health problem causing this.
