I can't even watch it now. I've seen the movie countless times, haven't watched the ending in probably 20 years. It's just straight up better if you cut it off like the sopranos lol

the ending is a great joke (a literal cop out) but I agree it isn't all that fun to watch. it (purposely) is very anticlimactic. even with all the shenanigans going on thru the movie, it still has the main plot of Arthur finding the Grail, and people want resolution to that. it's part of our storytelling DNA.
