So what? Destroying fascists financial infrastructure and propaganda networks is always desirable.

The constitutional court is the one to decide on a ban. If they cannot be trusted to ban only antidemocractic parties, then German is fascist already regardless.

You don't destroy it. You destroy a large chunk of their propaganda campaigns and financial backbone.

This provides significant room of breathing for denazification efforts to prosper. You cannot begin denazification without first weakening extremist factions.
