This is so nice and awesome.
When I read the other comments, I see how one could interpret it that way, but obviously it is good and courageous to stand up for someone that is constantly attacked and harassed. And of course it can be a vital sign of support for a person in that situation to know that they're not alone, and someone else, who wouldn't usually be attacked and could just stay unnoticed , stand up for them.
While surely some people want to be seen as the ones who fight back for themselves, there are many people, especially trans kids, that just can't deal with the harassment, and are glad to have support. And I hope that more and more people will provide that support.
