Do not attempt to transplant the corn.
The roots go much deeper than you think at that stage.
You can leave a cluster of 3-4 plants if their closest neighbor is 18" away. It actually helps with pollination.
I always have left my clusters together. I then throw a bunch of beans in the middle. I avoid the squash sister because it overwhelms
