Can't hurt to try if you're just going to snip it anyway. Untangling the root ball will damage both, so it's a crapshoot.

Do not attempt to transplant the corn.
The roots go much deeper than you think at that stage.
You can leave a cluster of 3-4 plants if their closest neighbor is 18" away. It actually helps with pollination.
I always have left my clusters together. I then throw a bunch of beans in the middle. I avoid the squash sister because it overwhelms
I'd do that sooner rather than later so they'll settle in better and not lag too far behind the others in terms of development and flowering time. If you're transplanting just because of shading I wouldn't bother, they're close enough in size.
Im growing corn too, in a raised, for the first time. Some good advice's?
This is only my second year trying it so as of now the best advice I have is corn takes a ridiculous amount of water once it’s pretty tall, haha
Just checking, was the corn last year a hybrid or heirloom/open pollinator? Did you only plant one variety or multiple varieties?
If it was a hybrid or you planted more then one, you likely won't get what you're expecting. If you want to do seed saving, pick an heirloom and just stick with that.
Last year I did them from seedlings but then had a month long emergency and they all died :( Starting fresh but from seeds this year!
