The title was "original Xbox aka cat warmer" when the "pedantic" comments were made.
Is it not original? Is it a fake from aliexpres or something?
'Original' in this case meaning first of its kind. The Xbox pictured is not the original Xbox, its the 3rd generation Xbox, the "Xbox One". The original Xbox is the black one pictured in the other comments, and the Wikipedia article I linked: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox#Consoles
The reason people were pointing this out is because the post first stated something along the lines of:
"this is the OG Xbox, not xbox 360 or Xbox one, this the OG, it was around before some people on Lemmy were even born."
