Sometimes the wifi drivers work better in Linux than Windows. They get a lot of eyes as Linux is more a server distro than Windows is, so internet performance is a much higher priority. Also much less tracking which helps.

I don't even have wifi on the PC, I'm wired all the way to the fiber modem.
