i guess it's confusing because my own dual nationality status doesn't include mandatory military service; but i guess it does if one of your countries enjoys doing genocides themselves.

also: i always had this impression of aanadians being better global citizens than americans and it's sad to learn that they're not.

Being better than Americans is kinda default cause they are the worst. But Canada eould be just as bad if they were as powerful.

The only reason Canada has the appearance of being better global citizens is because they're right next to the fourth reich and look good in comparison. As soon as you look deeper the facade falls away and it's clear the Canadian state is just a cover for a handful of resource extraction corporations ravaging the global south
