Spotrac is a good source for this stuff. and it looks like even if you completely remove LeBron salary they’re still over the cap so free agent wise it’s not a problem.

But not having him would give them more room for trades since they’re currently hard capped at the first apron, I can’t remember the details on why that happens to some teams, think it’s trade related or something. Currently they’re only $1M below the first Apron so effectively can’t take back more salary really.
