For the first time in nearly 20 years, the ice rink is moving from Fountain Square to the brand new Elm Street Plaza.

3CDC says this is because they are expanding the holiday magic to take over downtown Cincinnati.

The Elm Street Plaza is where the Millennium Hotel used to be. About two blocks down is going to be a green space outside the convention center.

This winter, there will be an even bigger ice rink with a bigger warming tent, rentable fire pit pergolas and upscale igloos.
