saving pictures still not working in latest version, for months now (lemmy.ca)

As the title says: saving pictures in Lemmy connect doesn't work and make the app completely freeze, then crash

How to replicate? Open up an image, any image, and then try saving it. No other app with similar features (saving an image, say, WhatsApp) has this issue.

The latest version is 1.0.275. I just tried saving a picture and it worked fine. That is a beta build so you will need to join the beta. This can be done from the Connect app page from the Play Store or App Store. Usually enrolling is a few minutes but sometimes you may not have the option to update for a couple of hours.
