that wasn’t left behind, that was lost….
probably wasn’t tied down properly somewhere.
people sure do trash the ocean but not with a boat worth thousands of dollars, with the motor still on….
also, the owner could’ve drowned.
i’m pretty sure you can legally take it though.
lol you dont live near the ocean then. People very much litter the ocean with cheap fiberglass hulled boats with a finite lifespan. The 'motor' is still on, but the cowling, some electronics, lower unit, prop, gas tank, and controls have been stripped.

Yeah, I'm thinking this was flotsam from a storm. It was either not correctly moored, or it was a hurricane and moorings didn't matter.
