Here, I fixed it:

"If you provide a false equivalence for trump failure equal being to America failure, if you wish for trump success when it is that that is causing America to fail, you're a domestic terrorist."

It's also a false equivalence that the U.S. (a state) failing is America (a nation) failing.

This feels like it needs to be written at 45 degrees in red ink.

Wait... Aren't U.S. states in an union, aka United States, a country; and America itself the northern region of the Americas, so a continent?

A nation is a group of people, not a governmental system. A government can disappear without the people disappearing.

If you wish for A you want B. If you want B you are C, where C = Domestic Terrorist and B = Wanting America to fail and A = Trump Failing

But we can see counter examples is this template. Let’s assume ‘you’ is always American because an Iranian that satisfies A&B would not be a domestic terrorist.

Instead imagine I have a massive put option placed on private prison stocks. I would want Trump’s deportation policies to fail which would drive down private prison expansion. I wouldn’t consider myself a domestic terrorist. Just betting against American businesses, which is already fair and square capitalism.
