Ohh, yes! I've felt that culture shock before. I think it's because American churches don't look like churches. At least they don't generally build traditional cathedrals unless they're Catholics. They have what feels like office spaces with a choir room.
Yeah... we have zero architecture here in the States.

Oh, don't get me wrong, they're pleasantly bland. It's just not what I used to believe churches were like before I visited. Lol
