I started keeping recipes in my obsidian notes, along with collecting old recipe books from estate sales, thrift stores, and used book shops. Lots of local organizations (rotary clubs, scout troops, etc) used to compile and create cookbooks, and you can often find them at the aforementioned places where used books go. It's a great way to rediscover authentic recipes using local or easily found ingredients.
And I dunno, something feels much more real and magical about making "Tiffany's Crawfish Pasta" with hand-penciled notes and substitutions from whichever old lady used to own this book (maybe even Tiff herself!) than just using the Spruce Eats version and hoping "Tiff3nyLovesTrump123" in the comments isn't a bot and isn't the original chef.
