A friend of mine uses "generally" instead of "genuinely" and it requires all of my self control not to correct them every time.
My girlfriend always uses effective when she means efficient. I tried to explain the difference several times, but I gave up.
Well to be fair, efficiency implies effectiveness. You can't make something efficient without it being effective first.
Same, except "weary" and "wary."
I'm both weary and wary of people who confuse those words.
Last night I learned the word "chary," which just confuses matters farther!
Than you chary much!
