Where do you think your cheap clothes, devices, food, energy, transportation, etc. comes from? Today’s globalism is a direct descendant of colonialism. In fact, many people even call it neo-colonialism.

It is only a 'direct descendant of colonialism' in that globalism is the result of capital moving industrial production to countries without collectively bargained labour agreements or environmental protections. It is. BY DEFINITION capital that profits from this, not the average British worker. Consumers do not profit in capitalism. BY DEFINITION. Globalism has only harmed the average British worker, as they are now in competition with the poorest people in the world in terms of selling their labour.

Just as it was the expansion of capital followed by exploitation throughout the world that was 'colonialism'.

I am done with this. Educate yourself. I will block people who post timewasting replies.

I agree with almost everything you say, except you are ignoring that capital bribes workers in the imperial core with a superior quality of life to maintain a compliant populace to provide a bulwark against the “slavering masses.”

It sounds like you’re anti capitalist and fairly well educated, but it’s a straight up lie to say that capitalism hasn’t increased quality of life for imperial core workers over that of global south.
