yep, based on luminance and individual color values (RGB). This allows the fire to follow patterns in the flag instead of burning everything at the same rate. I also tried it with a noise map so that pixels randomly have higher or lower resistance to the fire, but it was too random and didn't look right in my opinion.

I can tweak the values a bit though and the physics as well so they're just right. I was actually thinking of making red a bit more resistant.

Unfortunately at present this seems to be causing some difficulty with black in the South Korea flag for vanquishing it completely.

I noticed as well, I'll try to deploy something so black is easier to destroy. probably just a bypass of the luminance system for very dark colors

okay all fixed, it was much simpler than that haha. burns nice patterns in the black pixels now :)
