On May 10, 1933, members of the Nazi Brownshirts burned over 25,000 books in Berlin, near a university and an opera house, including works by Albert Einstein, Freud, and Kafka, as well as those of Marx and Engels.

Nazism declared itself an enemy of culture, believing that intellectualism was a cultural Bolshevik conspiracy to destroy the country.

This is fascism: they only want ignorant beasts fueled by hatred and devoid of all emotional empathy.
