a while ago i was in an argument with an anarchist about china and they hit me with the uyghur genocide argument so i sent them the article with the CIA guy openly admitting its a fabrication and they just didnt reply so im genuinely trying to wrap my mind around it. are they just in straight up denial and ignore it when people bring it up?

OR, the more horrifying alternative, are there some who just fw with the CIA for stopping ”red fascism”?? i know some people honestly believe communists should support ukraine due to ”morals” so maybe its possible?

my grandparents were engineers, my parents had the opportunities to thrive even after the system changed, and theres my generation who has to deal with the current job market... families in this region of the world are like this. stellar profession > poverty.

my parents are actually a special case because that inbetween generation also resorted to being criminals.

the thing is, my grandparents are not some sort of extreme intellects. but they lived in a system that WANTED to create engineers, nurses, teachers instead of hyperfocus on profit margins.

its so depressing to see it.

my plan after graduating is getting what you call ”low skilled jobs” but in reality theyre just as important as other jobs. everybody looks at me like i am braindead when i tell them i dont really have many career ambitions other than that.

i dont want to do hard stuff like medicine or law because i dont feel like im made for that (but i respect people in those fields immensely). i dont want to invest in property and rent it out (hell no). i dont want to invest in weird companies ran by some guy in the Eipstein files. i dont want to get a corporate job where i sit on my ass and do nothing.

i honestly dont even want to go to college atleast right now. why does everybody act like you have to have a mystical job with 3 Phds.

i feel like some people insist that you go get that degree immediately simply because they have so much disdain for work (nothing wrong with doing that if thats what you want to do of course).

why do some people act like youre an inferior lifeform for wanting to work as a barista or at a grocery store. our lives would collapse without those workers there.

i do want to do things with my life and have ambitions in general but its not about capital... i want to improve my social life, start sewing, watch movies, go to my first concert, go to therapy, spend time with my family and so much more.

the job is just supposed to fund that and help me remain in touch with my community and be expected to be somewhere so that i dont die all alone and nobody finds my corpse for months on end...

except for the turbo libs nobody looks at centralized powers anymore and thinks ”WOW thats an EVIL DICTATORSHIP”.

especially as people learn the truth about the CPC, i dont think the idea of one party is that foreign or scary anymore anymore.

maybe its because of cultural globalization people see lives with certain leaders for years and years on end? it would honestly be weird if Xi Jinping wasnt leading China and people will notice when he dies

i think the people are starting to feel that liberal democracy is just a chaotic waste of time. people see the chaos that comes from being ruled by left-leaning parties and then right-leaning parties and so on.

at some point you get exhausted of violent protests everytime the president changes and election social turmoil. people pointlessly lose relationships and friendships over voting differencs just for nothing to change really OR only change for the worse. social cohesion is terrible under bourgeoisie democracy.

i think people are losing interest in liberal democracy overall. it is natural, it only serves the rich of society and not the working class majority.

what does become concerning is that its NOT certain people will go to the left. truth is, people might actually go to the right if they become comfortable with the idea of one party if they dont form class conciousness and choose a communist party.

im trying to explain this to my lib friends who think collectivism is evil and sucks

transhumanism is the ideology of people who want to use technology to improve human life (make lifespan longer, prevent disease etc.), those very pretentious guys who freeze themselves after death because they believe revival will be possible in the future

to me its weird. most transhumanists seem to have the mindset that everybody should have these technologies? but at the same time most reject communism?

i think that as technology advances its kind of becoming unavoidable that we will have some people into this for real

like most technological advancements (Space travel, AI) its utopian in communism but hellish under capitalism...

i believe that if we move towards this type of reality, capitalism will do as capitalism does. they might put weird shit in our food or have weird psyops to convince the masses to cut off their legs because they NEED that new biomechanical biotech prosthetics and get in life ruining debt for it (they already do this in the US with normal healthcare...) and then use those without robot parts as the outsiders in the inevitable fascism liberalism turns into

under socialism, people will obviously not be forced into it and you could get the turbo speed wamth+AC robot 15 inch 350 gram c** and b**s set for free or atleast very low prices if you want to ascend your humanity

when russia became capitalist and conservative, some factions of white supremacists glaze it for being a white state (not true) and restrictions on LGBT rights

serbia: believe it or not i see many racist serbians and americans bond over their shared hatred of black people and the LGBT, talking about how black people steal, when they know their laughing with someone who stole part of their country (kosovo)

basically the entirety of europe, they collaborated with everybody in order to fight against communism and the USSR

basically american nationalists only hate AES and the countries they rob for resources (global south)

this is so peculiar to me because other nationalists have long standing conflicts and ive heard of people fight over 300 year old battles where 2 people got their ankles scratched, but american nationalism can forgive enemies who were out to kill them all only because theyre allies in capitalism?

american nationalism truly is a bullshit ideology and unmasks how bourgeoise nationalism is often just a way to sell capitalism to the masses

a big ”gotcha” moment reactionaries have against communism is that some communists are relatively well off and have some wealth to our name.

however, i find that the poorest in society dont have any energy to study theory and look at the world in certain ways.

i know that this was true for me. i used to be quite poor earlier in my life and money was scarce.

during this time, i used to spend the money i did have on stupid consumerist things. however, when i actually had a stable income, i found that i didnt want as many things (because i could always buy them)

furthermore, i used to fetishize the 1st world and a big goal of mine was to move to a 1st world country thinking they were ”better”. after my financial situation improved i was able to see that life isnt actually better over there and most their better conditions are because they still engage in neocolonialism and steal resources from the global south.

the way i looked at things changed a lot and i eventually stopped being a liberal.

many reactionaries like to say ”how can you be a communist when you have fancy things?” but being poor was such a psychologically taxing experience that i couldnt look at things from a rational perspective at all

i think this is why the united states keeps their population poor and in constant debt. they accuse north korea of actively harming their own population to keep them from revolting but i think its actually them who do this.
