He wasn't even the best guitarist in the Yardbirds, let alone one of the best ever

Being the best white blues player is like being tic tac toe champion. It's a title, but does it really mean anything? Forgive the gatekeeping I just find it rather distasteful. Yeah he wasn't ever that impressive, I can't recall being blown away by anything I've ever heard from him.
