My great parents decided to photograph this chicken. Sometimes I wonder why, was it because they were excited about the Camera? It must have felt exciting. Still they were farmers and this is a mundane thing they'd see every day, so why photograph it? I guess it could have been just because.

There's lot of photo of people in the album, as you'd expect, but this is the only animal photo. It makes it stand out.

Also here's a bear doing that pog emote:

I've spent a lot of time in my own thoughts thinking about stuff, just life in general. Making friends feels quite challenging in this world because of this cursed thing we call money. You never know if I'm actually a person sharing a story or it's a long grift. That's what makes me paranoid.

It's also my main incentive or has been for why I like the idea of socialism. It's really a shame it isn't possible to implement right now, so I'll just have to share the story.

My mother was a kid on a farm during the Depression. She said eating chicken was a rare Sunday dinner event as it was limited to old birds who quit laying. Chickens were around for eggs, not meat. Feeding the chickens was a task assigned to the youngest kids, so she got to know each and every one of them. She understood their sacrifice and hard work when they ended up on the dinner table.
