If you aren't already familiar with it, hukumusume.com is a wonderful resource full of Japanese children's stories. However, the web design is straight out of the year 2000, and some of the stories can still be fairly challenging to read, even if they are for kids.

So, I ran all the stories through a difficulty analyzer to sort them from easiest to hardest, and I also created a userscript to strip all of the junk out of the website and just leave the story content. You just need a browser extension like Violentmonkey or Tampermonkey to enable the userscript. It lets you toggle dark mode, increase the font size, enable/disable images, and more. Very readable on mobile devices now, and you can even use Yomitan to help with unknown words or to mine sentences for Anki.

Wow, that's amazing! I hadn't even heard of the hukumusume sight, so finding that AND your difficulty sorting work on top feels like hitting a jackpot. Thank you!

May have to try the user styles later, mobile-friendly would be nice. But it already doesn't seem too bad by default.
