I'd love to know what others think about this. My view is it's already very easy to cast a vote, as easy as we can realistically make it, and we should be asking ourselves why fifteen percent of the population don't bother to vote, rather than forcing them to do so.

85% is good, though finding out why the 15% don't vote is valuable. Especially so if there are systemic problems that are essentially preventing them voting.
