On their status page, almost every incident (of which they average one per day) has "A detailed root cause analysis will be shared as soon as it is available". They never do.
There are multiple articles claiming TeamPCP collected developer credentials via a poisoned VSCode extension.
The people that cause the issue are the people that create the solution.
No, Microsoft causes the issues and GitHub employees have to deal with it
