The world we live in isn't just dystopic, it isn't just stupid, trying to describe all the ways it sucks just makes for a really boring story.

I agree with Bezos here. We should be taxing him dramatically more than double of what he's currently paying.

Bezos paying any tax at all would be an improvement
I think what he's referring to is that even if you taxed him more right now, that money would just go to funding the trump admin, bombs, and ICE...

Yeah, but they won't fund it through tax dollars, more like direct "donations" and kickbacks to the corrupt politicians and evil organizations implementing the agenda.
