Yeah, this is why I've been telling "leftists" that giving up on the system entirely is a terrible idea and that encouraging others to do so is asinine.
What if we want you to collapse as a nation?

Then you are a saying you like suffering and it makes you a sadomasochist that didnt ask for consent from your kink partners as you push your fetish on the world.
You want to continue electing corporatist democrats and fascist republicans in order to further destabilize the country with the largest nuclear stockpile in the world? Instead of electing progressives who would actually try to correct course?
You clearly haven't thought very deeply on this.
The sooner you crumble, the sooner we can fix things. There is no future with America anymore.
Whether you're American or not, this will hurt you too. America collapsing would have incredible ripples to the rest of the world. Entire economies would collapse. That's the best case, assuming the collapse of the US also isn't preceded by invasions of other countries, which is likely. In addition, assuming you care about people, there would be a massive amount of suffering, in the US and elsewhere. Also, wherever you are, your government would probably start spending money on the outcome, whatever that is, so it'd effect your taxes as well, if you're purely selfish and that's the only thing that matters to you.
If collapse is what it comes to then that's what it comes to. Wishing for it is fucked up though. It's probably about the worst outcome for everyone possible, except for maybe empires who want to come in and claim the resources. That won't help you, but I guess it'll help whatever empire you're supporting.
