I've degoogled my phone. ShiftPhone with e/os But I still don't have a good maps app. Google maps is so efficient and easy to use. I now have 3 map apps to try to see which is best for what (waze for riding my motorbike, petal maps for other transport methods, and the pre-installed e/os map app for looking up locations without navigation)
What is the degoogled alternative to Google maps? One where I have the local public transport in my region, it has the option to find places and businesses without the address and it gives me turn-by-turn navigation for car, and bicycle???
I use CoMaps.
Waze is owned by Google.
im on grapheneos and i have to use waze because its just so much better ugh.
Organic maps. Maybe, not sure about bicycle.
wazes is just google maps...
waves is just google maps...
HERE WeGo is a proprietary European map app.

OsmAnd is great if you need ALL THE FEATURES. It kicks butt for bike stuff and anytime you need unusual features like a GPS-based speedometer or seeing exactly what types of bike lanes you've got available. Also the radius ruler is awesome for quickly measuring distances.
Comaps is good if you'd rather something a little slicker and simpler, more like proprietary map apps.
Finding businesses might be an issue or it might not, depending on whether they're listed on OpenStreetMap (which basically all open source map apps use, and it's great for everything other than business search). Apple Maps has a web version now!!, it's quite limited but it still has business search, so it's handy for that. You can then pop the address into your normal maps app for navigation.
Yeah I didn't like that I couldn't find my doctor's address on osm. I usually like using it and there was a time where I used osm editor and street measuring apps to support the map.
