The way I did it was just trying a name in a small circle of friends for a while and then introducing it in the workplace. I feel like I only knew if my name suited me was hearing other people say it and "trying it on"
Das wäre eine gar nicht so schlechte Neuigkeit in einer Welt mit Grundeinkommen und sozialer Sicherheit. Viele dieser Jobs sind nicht wirklich gut oder notwendig. Das ist die Sorte Jobs, die durch automatisierte Prozesse ersetzt werden können.
Leider hat das im turbo Kapitalismus kaum gute Auswirkungen, weil diese Leute es sehr schwer haben werden, umzuschulen oder neue Jobs zu finden
DM'ing my first DnD one-shot. I really didn't know how it would work out, if it would even happen (people are unreliable sometimes), or if I was putting way too much work into it.
But we all had such a blast and we already have the next two sessions scheduled. And my friendship with my colleagues is blossoming from it and it gives me such a feeling of belonging and being appreciated.
Being autistic and socially awkward, this is a really big step

I just had my first one-shot DnD where I DM'ed for colleagues. We played a setting that I bought at a con recently. It's about Italian renaissance, so that's my hyperfocus now. Researching about venice, Florence, davinci, art, society.... It's been really fun to play (even though we went way too long with about 8 hours T_T)
Now I also started researching more about DM'ing in general, tricks and tipps. I hope I don't do too much or work in the wrong direction.
Ja empathisch sind sie. Aber das Problem (auch für Erwachsene) ist oft, dass Kind1 etwas tut, was es selbst als nicht schlimm empfindet, kind2 empfindet es als Angriff und "wehrt sich". Ergo denken beide dass das andere Kind angefangen hat
What? Woran siehst du dass Gewalt eine Lösung ist? Das ist das Gegenteil von dem was ich sage. Ich lege die Aufmerksamkeit auf die friedliche Lösung von Konflikten indem ich die Kinder bestärke, die Konflikte beenden können. "Aufhören" heißt nicht, wer zuletzt schlägt, sondern wer den Konflikt friedlich beendet
Ich arbeite mit Kindern. Ich sag denen immer: mich interessiert nicht, wer angefangen hat, sondern wer aufhört. Für Kinder ist es größtenteils nicht ersichtlich wer angefangen hat, weil sie sich nicht so gut in anderen hinein versetzen können (wenn wir von unter 10-jährigen sprechen).
This is among the best of the paintings I made. I was trying a wet-on-wet which isn't easy with acrylics, so I used a thin gesso ground to paint on.
I've started doing more watercolour paintings again at work (I work with kids at a school) and I really enjoy it. I think I started enjoying painting a lot more since I stopped trying to paint something specific and started to just see what happened and what I felt like. Today I wanted to experiment with crayons and watercolour. It worked out perfectly: the watercolours didn't run over the crayon lines and thus created this cool "rain" effect. Everything is done in watercolour, I just traced the buildings with a dark blue crayon before applying the runny paint for the rain

I already disabled all the ad blocks and paused ghostery but it still looks like this. the problem is, that I cannot click images or the other tabs because the search bar is above it and doesn't go away. I can't find anything in the settings and i couldn't find a similar topic on the Brave support page. anything i'm missing?
