The minister proposed the idea during a security cabinet meeting on Tuesday, where officials supported expanding the assault in Lebanon.

"Let's start thinking outside the box about Hezbollah," Ben Gvir said.

"Conquering territory and killing many terrorists, but also detaining their women and youth and taking them to terrorist prisons," he added.

"That's what hurts them the most."

The title is deceptive. He is the minister of national security in israel, so his "calling for" is actual a statement of Israeli government policy. You dont "call on" a people to do things when you are in charge of those people. They make it sound like he is on the ouside of government asking for the people in charge to do something.
