Speaking of which, is there a way to find out the total number of subscribers to a community? I think I can only see the number on each particular instance.

It all depends on us. Let's do it. I think especially for smaller / niche communities like r/synthesizers Lemmy is perfect. Let the mainstream subs like r/gifs etc happen on reddit.
